Olive Garden Steak Gorgonzola Alfredo

Ingredients:

For the Steak:

1 lb sirloin steak, cut into thin strips

2 tbsp olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

For the Alfredo Sauce:

1/2 cup unsalted butter

2 cups heavy cream

1 1/2 cups grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled

1/4 tsp nutmeg

Salt and pepper to taste

For the Pasta:

1 lb fettuccine pasta

1/4 cup fresh spinach, chopped

1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, julienned

For Garnish:

2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

1/4 cup Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled

Directions:

Prepare the Steak: In a medium bowl, marinate the steak strips with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Let sit for 20-30 minutes.

Cook the Steak: Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the steak strips for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness. Remove from heat and set aside.

Make the Alfredo Sauce: In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, Gorgonzola cheese, and nutmeg. Cook, stirring constantly, until the cheeses are fully melted and the sauce is smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Cook the Pasta: While the sauce is simmering, cook the fettuccine pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Combine: Add the cooked pasta to the Alfredo sauce, tossing to coat evenly. Stir in the chopped spinach and sun-dried tomatoes.

Serve: Divide the pasta into plates and top with grilled steak strips. Garnish with crumbled Gorgonzola cheese and fresh parsley.
